During the past several months, our many pleas to HSUS have been in vein & ignored. We have received an email from PETA condoning the torture & killing of the Live Domestic Rabbits at BCR.  ALDF is turning their back on the rabbits as well. Each one of these animal rights groups appears to work side by side with Big Cat Rescue on animal rights campaigns even though it is factual public knowledge that BCR practices this barbaric & unnecessary live feeding protocol.

At ALDF, one of our mottos is “Abuse an Animal, Go to Jail!” Your support makes possible our fight to ensure that abusers …

Please respectfully contact ALDF and let them know there are many people who have seen and been offended by the feeding practices at BCR. I emphasize respectfully and please note when you are expressing an opinion or fact.

Please see the email responses from ALDF below.

Hello Linda Sue,

Thank you for contacting the Animal Legal Defense Fund. I understand your concerns. We do not have the legal authority to enforce a state code and this is not the type of case we can become directly involved with. We are located in California and do not have an investigative division. Have you contacted the Humane Society of Tampa or another local animal organization? You can do a search by zip code using this site, www.worldanimal.net

Hello Linda,

To clarify we have worked side by side Big Cat Rescue in our mission to free Tony, however at this point it is undecided where Tony will be placed. Should he be rehomed to Big Cat Sanctuary, I will make sure to forward your concerns to our attorneys handling the case.

Your email was the first I’ve received in regards to the practice of live rabbit feeing at BCR. I will forward your email to our attorneys handling the case.
